The Defence Production and Export Promotion Policy (DPEPP 2020) aims to double defence production and increase exports by 2025. Start-ups with modular tech, strong USPs, and dual-use solutions like drones, AI, and underwater systems are gaining traction, along with sectors like propulsion, semiconductors, and laser technology.
