ChatGPT appears to be testing support for Gmail and Google Calendar integration. This will allow users to summarise emails and create events.

ChatGPT already supports Gmail integration, but it’s tied to Deep Research.

Right now, you can use information from Gmail in your Deep Research reports, but it’s not possible to pull up emails from Gmail and summarise them.

As spotted by Tibor on X, ChatGPT is now actively testing support for integrating Gmail and Calendar, so you can stay “organized.”

Once the feature rolls out, you’ll be able to use ChatGPT to analyze email, create a response to the email, turn emails into a story, and then make schedules directly from ChatGPT.

AI researcher Tibor told me that the feature could be tied to ChatGPT Search feature, as indicated by one of the FAQ pages:
