Tyremaker CEAT Ltd reported a 27 per cent dip in consolidated net profit at ₹154 crore in the quarter ended on June 30, as against ₹112 crore reported in the same quarter last year.
Sequentially, profit increased 55 per cent in the March quarter, against ₹99 crore registered in the June quarter.
The Mumbai-headquartered company’s revenue from operations grew 10.55 per cent on year to ₹3,529 crore (₹3,192 crore) in the quarter under review. Sequentially, revenue increased by 3.15 per cent in the quarter, as against ₹3,420 crore posted in the March quarter.
“We continue to grow at a strong pace with double-digit growth in top-line, driven by OEM and the replacement segments. Looking ahead, we are well poised to ride the premiumisation and electrification trend in the domestic market, and renew our growth in international markets with stability in the geopolitical situation,” said Arnab Banerjee, MD & CEO, CEAT Ltd.
