- Josaa counseling for IIT, NIT Admissions from June 3 Check Complete Schedule
Joint seat Allocation Authority i.e. JOSAA has released its counseling schedule. Let us know that with the help of this counseling, admissions will be available in IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIS across the country. According to the issued schedule, registration for round 1 counseling will start from June 3.
9 days for choice filling
The entire process of counseling will start from June 3 and will run till 28 July. This year counseling will be in total 6 rounds. However, the counseling was completed in 5 rounds last year. Students will get 9 days time for choice filling and lock their choice by June 11.
Supernumerary quota for girls
Supernumerier quota will be applicable for girls in IITs. However, girls will get admission under both female pool and gender nutritious pool. On a good rank, girls can also take admission in Gender Nutural seat.
Change will not be optioned after choice lock
According to Josaa rules, students must lock their choice before the last date. If you do not do so, the automatic choice will be locked. The choice will not be replaced after being locked.
