Living in Arizona, we are sure to have temps in the 100s by now. We’ve even hit 106 once, so the heat is on. It’s time to add some light colors and make things Light and Cool For Summer. The best place to start is the living room.
For fall I warmed up this spacer by bringing the leather chair in and using some darker colors for accessories. Now I want to make it look a bit lighter.
Just simply changing a few pillows made a world of difference. This is how to room looked for fall and winter. I love the character my Fox pillow added to this room, but time for him to take a rest.
I love how easily a room can change simply by changing the colors and patterns of a few pillows.
Modified dots and stripes are always interesting together.
The coffee table and most of the accessories stayed the same. I don’t think you have to totally change everything in a room to create a new look.
For now the room looks lighter and cooler. I am sure it will change again as the summer heats up.
