‘Tis the season of pumpkins so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to make one of my favorite desserts –Ā pumpkin spice Brazilian Brigadeiro, aka pumpkin spice truffles!
These little sweet bites not only look quite adorable, but they’re also SO incredibly tasty, made with condensed milk and all the comforting flavors of Fall! YUM!
If you like pumpkin pie or pumpkin spice anything, then you’ll love these! In fact, these make a great alternative to your more traditional Fall or Halloween pumpkin desserts. Plus, they’ll look just as yummy on a Thanksgiving desserts platter too, so be sure to pin it for later! š
Pumpkin Spice Brazilian Brigadeiro Truffles
These pumpkin spice truffles are also super easy to make and only require a handful of inexpensive ingredients!
You can make theseĀ Pumpkin Spice Brazilian Brigadeiro Truffles about 3-4 days in advance of serving them, and they keep well in the fridge for up to 1 week.
I love the flavors of Fall and these little sweet treats are perfect to serve anytime from now until Thanksgiving!
I tend to eat these with my afternoon coffee, but you can also add them to tops of cakes or a desserts board too. Or box up a few of these and turn them into a delightful Fall gift for neighbors, teachers and friends!
These pumpkin spice truffles can be served on a bed of sugar or sugar sprinkles for dĆ©cor, or you can also present them in individual baking cups like I did.Ā

Pumpkin Shaped Brazilian Brigadeiro Truffles

Take the classics Fall flavors of pumpkin pie to create these super easy pumpkin shaped truffles or pumpkin Brigadeiro as they’re also known!
Ingredients
- 397g can sweet condensed milk
- 300g (1 cup) pumpkin puree
- 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 tbsp. butter + extra for greasing
- cloves or chocolate chips for dƩcor
Instructions
- Add condensed milk, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice and coconut to a saucepan.
- Bring to a medium heat, and add butter, mixing until all ingredients are well combined and butter has melted.
- Turn the heat to low and whisk continuously for about 15 minutes until the mixture thickens and comes loose from the bottom of the pan when the pan is tilted.Ā
- Transfer the mixture to a greased dish and place it in the fridge until cool for about 1 hour or longer if needed.
- Grease your hands with a little butter and roll the mixture into bite-sized truffle balls.Ā
- Dip the truffles into caster sugar, then flatten the tops slightly and use the sides of a toothpick to make vertical grooves on the sides of the truffles to emulate the pumpkins.
- Add a clove or chocolate chip to the top for the “pumpkin stem”. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes:
- These pumpkin truffles are best served on non-stick baking cups.
- You can dip each little pumpkin truffle in sugar or desiccated coconut.
- These Brazilian pumpkin truffles or pumpkin spice Brigadeiro keep well refrigerated for about 3 days.
